1. ‎Sound doctrine produces godly living (v. 1).

2. Older men should model godliness (v. 2).

Older men are to be:

*Sober-minded

*Dignified

*Self-controlled

*Sound in faith

*Sound in love

*Sound in steadfastness

3. Older women should model godliness and teach it to younger women (v. 3).

Older women are:

*To be reverent in behavior

*To not be slanderers

*To not be enslaved to much wine

*To teach what is good

4. Younger women should display the gospel through godly character and faithful homes (vv. 4-5).

Younger women are to:

*Love their husbands

*Love their children

*Be self-controlled

*Be pure

*Be workers at home

*Be kind

*Submit to their own husbands.
