We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.

PSALM 78:4

Children are a heritage, or gift, from the Lord! (Psalm 127:1) Blanchard First Children’s Ministry is committed to glorifying the one true God through the evangelism and training of our children in the things of the Lord. We view every circumstance in our classrooms as an opportunity to both share and demonstrate the Gospel. Our goal is to reinforce and encourage parents’ efforts to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

Group Times

Sunday 9:00 am & 10:30am

Connect Groups for your child combine activities and play with a purposeful proclamation of the gospel.  Our Christ-centered curriculum works chronologically through the bible teaching the story of God redeeming sinners and encouraging gospel conversations.

Wednesday 6:30pm-7:30pm

Wednesday nights are a place where we reinforce the gospel with directed play time and crafts and a teaching time with the purpose of communicating biblical truth.

Sunday Morning Worship

We value having children join us for worship! For this reason, children Kindergarten and older attend worship with their families.  Though younger children are welcome in the worship service, we offer Connect Groups and  Extended Teaching Care (ETC) for Infants through Pre-K. Here are some of the reasons we prioritize our children attending worship with their parents!

Parents are the primary teachers.

Our church family is called to be involved in our children's lives, but parents are first and foremost responsible for their discipleship. Attending worship as a family provides parents the opportunity to teach and guide their children!

Worshiping fosters togetherness.

Worship is the most valuable thing we do. It is hard to overestimate the influence of approximately 650 worship services together as a family over the years  (for both parents and children)!

Children understand more than we think.

Children absorb a tremendous amount of information and value from the worship service.  What does go over their heads, they can and will grow into over time, often more quickly than expected!

Children are impressionable.

Children in the worship service  witness God's people pray, sing, and listen to the preaching of the Word. Prayerfully, this will be a means God uses to grow a love for Himself in their hearts!
