Rich Toward God
Luke 12:13-21
Notes:
1. To make a demand of God is a sin. (v. 13)
2. Jesus Christ came the first time to seek and save, not arbitrate. (v. 14)
3. Life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. (v. 15)
4. The problem with greed. (v. 16-19)
Greed ignores:
The Lordship of Christ over everything.
The priority of relationships over riches.
The shortness of life and the fact of eternity.
5. Focus on God’s perspective instead of the World’s perspective. (v. 20-21)
