Sola Fide - Faith Alone

1. Justification is by faith alone, not through works. (3:27-28)

2. Justification is by faith alone, not through religious rituals. (3:29-30)

3. Justification by faith alone upholds the law. (3:31)

Justification upholds the law by showing:

               *It is impossible to attain right standing with God by keeping the law.

               *The punishment which the Law demands has been fulfilled by Jesus Christ.

               *God imputes the righteousness of Christ to us so that we meet the Law’s righteous demand in Him.
